Somewhere between clamping the last seam and laying down the final bead of solder, a pile of copper turns into a still you built yourself. Our 15 gallon "EZ KIT" is made for that moment.
Copper that's ready for your hands
The hard shop work is already done. The copper comes pre-cut, rolled, and embossed. You skip the sheet-metal guesswork and go straight to the part that matters: clamping each piece in place and soldering it tight. You bring the time and a steady hand. In return, you keep the money that would otherwise pay for someone else's labor.
Why 15 gallons
Fifteen gallons is a comfortable size for a builder who wants room to run real experiments without wrestling a giant pot. It's big enough to learn how heat, vapor, and copper work together, and small enough to keep an eye on every stage of a run.
The scientist in the garage
Once it's built, a still is a lab bench made of copper. You control the heat. You watch the vapor rise and condense. You learn to read the run and make your cuts on purpose. Many people use stills for distilled water and essential oils. Others hold permits for fuel alcohol or spirits. However you use yours, the experiment is yours to run.
